*If you are traveling to Waterford by train or bus you will need to taxi or uber from the station to Waterford Castle.



To access Waterford Castle's private island, you will need to board the exclusive resort car ferry.


The ferry is a 24-hour complimentary service that runs daily to the following schedule:


7.00am – 12am midnight: Every 15 minutes on the quarter hour.


12am midnight – 7.00am: On demand, please phone the ferry directly.


You will find the number on a sign both sides of the river.
